On 3rd October 2024, MMU reaffirmed its dedication to advancing research and innovation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SDS Associates Sdn Bhd at its Cyberjaya campus. The MoU was signed by MMU President, Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mazliham Mohd Su’ud, and Ho Chi Kian, Director of SDS Associates, marking a pivotal step in their collaborative pursuit of research excellence and knowledge-sharing within the university.
SDS Associates Sdn Bhd is widely recognized for its cutting-edge innovations, particularly in the rapidly growing field of eye-tracking technology. This partnership aims to strengthen the academic environment by fostering stronger ties between industry and academia, thus providing enhanced practical learning experiences for both students and faculty.
Present at the signing ceremony were Prof. Ir. Dr. Hairul Azhar Abdul Rashid, Vice President of Market Exploration, Engagement & Touchpoint (VP MEET), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Junaidi Abdullah, Dean of the Faculty of Computing & Informatics, as well as other distinguished faculty members.
This MoU is set to bolster MMU’s research capacities and drive the development of innovative solutions in eye-tracking technology, creating significant benefits for both the university and the wider industry.
